Another sketch I have also managed to complete this month is for Creative Scrappers. I had heaps of fun putting this layout together of 2 of my children.

Aussie Cards for Sale....

While blogging I came across this great site called Aussie Cards for Sale. It is an online store ran by Alicia selling high quality handmade greeting cards created by some very talented card makers. There is a design team call on at the moment and I thought I might try my luck. Below are my four cards that I have submitted.

Layout share..........

Hello all .... Can you believe Christmas is only 2 sleeps away. My children have been madly cleaning so as Santa will not trip over all their odds and ends while he makes his way to their Christmas stockings that they have neatly placed under our Christmas tree!!

So while they have been cleaning I have managed to complete this layout of my beautiful 8 year old daughter. I had so much fun putting this layout together - particularly the handmade flowers :-)

More card shares

Well we only have about 4 weeks to go until our big move from Victoria to WA. In between all the sorting and packing etc I have managed these couple of cards using the sweet stamps from All Thats Scraps Spring kit. I got them for a a bargain when they were on special a while ago.

Will be back in the next couple of days with a layout or two to share.

Some more cards to share....

I have been trying so hard this last week to fit some crafting in but haven't had much luck. Hubby had his tonsils out last Tuesday and recovery is going fairly slow. So between dosing him up on his meds and feeding the kids (which seems like every 10 minutes) I have only managed to get 2 cards finished. Both feature the ever so gorgeous Magnolia stamps. When I first saw these stamps I just didn't think they were my style but I must admit they have really grown on me.

Okay best be off and get these kids organised for bed so as I can then scrap in peace - that's the plan anyway.

Well it has been way too long since my last post and rather than bombard you with all my creations from over the past few months, I will spread them out over the next few weeks.

Firstly I participated in a card challenge over at Deb's Creations. This challenge was set by Vicki Bailey with the requirements being: Magnolia image, the colour blue and flowers. How easy is that. If you love a challenge pop on over here and have a go. You have until end of January to get your entries in.

Next up is another card made using the gorgeous Popcorn Bear stamps. As soon as I seen these stamps I knew I just had to have them....

Okay I will leave it at that today and promise to be back soon with some more creations.

layouts to share

Okay so I got withdrawals from not creating any layouts for a while so this week I have well and truly made up for it.

This layout is of my son - every time we ask him how does a monster go - he replies "raaaagh". Too cute....

Next one is of my eldest daughter focusing on her new pairs of shoes. It seems every time we goes shopping she needs a new pair - one time it's boots, the next sneakers, thongs - I guess shoes are just her thing - like scrapping is mine!!!

On the 14th September my son turned 3 - can't believe he isn't a baby anymore. This layout is of him soaking up birthday kisses from his sister.
This boy definately is "one a a kind". He never fails to come up with something that has me in stitches. Here he is wearing his dads safety glasses.

Like all boys, Jordan just loves to play in mud. He would play in it all day if I let him!!!

Lastly is one of my daughter Rachel, looking lovely in her pink dress. The vine on the layout is handmade by myself and I am rapt as to how it turned out.

Will try and post more often rather than boring you in one looooong post.

Penny Black addiction

Well I have never really been into making cards until lately when I come across the gorgeous Penny Black stamps. I can now say that I am addicted and can't get enough of them. The other bonus is that card making uses up all my scraps from scrapbooking - so I figure the two seem to go hand in hand!!!

Very first blog post

Wahooo - my first ever blog post. I have finally decided to join the world of blogging. I love looking at other people's blogs and being inspired by what I see, so I am hoping that my blog will do the same for others.

First off is my layout created for the June sketch comp. over at Sweeties Sketches http://sweetiessketches.blogspot.com/. I am loving the sketches Shell is coming up with and was quite happy with how this one turned out.
